I'm glad I got some sleep this week.
Today's the day of the memorial service for Mal and Ish's father. I already said I'd go. I don't care what state I'm in - I'm going.
I was in Stormwind, getting ready to head to the memorial service, and saw Theodar. We decided to ride there together.
I helped Mal, Ish and Mairin carry Ishion's casket out to where it was to be laid to rest. I then decided to say a few words as well. It wasn't much, but I hope it did him justice. His daughters are great people, it makes sense that he most likely was too.
We all went to the Blue Recluse in Stormwind. Looking back, I really should've stayed longer.

I decided to take a walk up to Northshire Abbey today. While I was there, I met a young girl called Jaynette DeLeáne.
It seemed she had been abandoned at the Abbey by her parents at the age of four. And I thought I was the only one with a 'sad' story.
She had been training to become a mage, following a strict regimen of early starts and late-night studying. When she found out that I was also a mage, she became persistant. She wanted me to train her.
I haven't taken on an apprentice since Charlly...and I'll never forget her.
Eventually, I relented. Partly because her persistance was beginning to get annoying. But partly because I forced myself to give me another chance.
I promised myself that what happened to Charlly wouldn't happen to Jaynette. I just hope I can honour that promise.
Only time will tell, I guess.

Today, I did something that I hadn't done for a long time. I went on an expedition to Zul'Gurub with the Quill & Sword.
We managed to defeat four of the "Aspect Priests".
On the way out, I talked with Monos. It seems he may be willing to try the ritual again. But it wouldn't be right to perform the ritual without Shaliya there - just in case it actually worked.
