Mandaril Angronion – High Elf
Mandaril in casual clothes.
When the destruction of the town of Quel'Thalas was at hand Mandaril was away on a travel. Only to return to see the terror in the eyes of his remaining people fleeing for their lives. He tried to defend the town but had to escape from the threat for a time. When it became safer he returned to the town to aid in the rebuilding of it. At the beginning he blaimed himself for not being there and because he returned to late but he realised that he couldn't have done much about it all. Mandaril rather stay in town than fighting and exploring. Although he might just do some of it to see if he can make a positive change in the world.
His mother was Omilá and his father Orehban. They both died when he was in young age. (Rumour has it that they died in an arcane magic accident.) He grew up with his uncle Vegnad and aunt Emina, his cousin and his five brothers and two sisters. All of them vanished as the enemy marched to destroy their beloved home town. Mandaril is now about 206 Elven years. In appearance he looks like somewhat above 25 human years old.
Mandaril, although he higly values both his town and his people, still consider himself as a high elf. He refuses to strive for revenge or arcane magic. Even so he is not accepted amongst the alliance because of so many of his people has entitled themselves as blood elves, and in their desperate lust for revenge, and arcane magic, turned to the Horde side. He himself didn't want to suport that path and tried to declare for the alliance that there still was high elves left, that he was one of such by heart and still wanted to suport them. This was not believed by that faction. Although those news made him discouraged he still had hope for peace and that the alliance in future once more possibly would understand. His support for the alliance made some of the Horde, suspicious of course, not that he was affraid of them nor cared much of their opinions. Most of the blood elves doesn't know that he still consider himself as a high elf and sympathises with the alliance. He wouldn't let those opinions get in the way of his entire people either of course.
